"For more than 30 years, Dr. Lubitz has diagnosed and treated foot-related problems. He has a very personal style of treating patients that includes open dialog and discussion that helps patients to understand both their problem and their treatment plan.

Working with patients of all ages from children and teens to their parents and grandparents, Dr. Lubitz has a particular focus on reconstructive surgery of the foot, diabetic foot care, heel pain, and specialized care for those individuals who have higher than average impact to their feet such as runners, dancers, and tennis players.

A physician with Parrish Medical Group since 2011, Dr. Lubitz is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. Licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Alabama, Dr. Lubitz also maintains licensure as a registered pharmacist in Florida and New Jersey. Early in his career he held positions with Liggett-Rexall Drugs, Rite-Aid Pharmacy and Cutler Pharmacy.

In 1983 he moved to Mobile, Alabama where he was in private practice as a podiatrist for 28 years. He also held surgical staff positions at Springhill Memorial Hospital and Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, Mobile, Alabama, prior to moving to Titusville.

Dr. Lubitz has had a role in many medical associations including positions such as president of the Alabama Podiatry Association and president of the Alabama State Board of Examiners. He served for 28 years with the Alabama Podiatric Medical Association, and was also a member on the board of directors of the Alabama Diabetes Association for five years.

Dr. Lubitz lives in Titusville with his wife, Dr. Joan McNeela. He feels his greatest contribution to his patients is the quality of care he offers, thinking of his patients as a family."
