"Wendy Worsley, MD, is a board certified family practice physician who treats patients ages 16 and up. She received her medical degree in 2000 from East Carolina University, then completed her residency in Greenville, North Carolina. She has enjoyed living and practicing in our community since 2003.
Dr. Worsley chose family medicine for the opportunity to help a wide variety of patients improve their health and change their lives. She finds that providing education and a listening ear go a long way toward helping people make positive changes. Her goal is to work with her patients to become healthier, avoid chronic diseases and minimize the need for medications through lifestyle changes.
Dr. Worsley’s particular interests include women’s health, diabetes care, preventive medicine and wound care. She joined Parrish Medical Group in 2005 and is also a panel physician with Healogics Wound Healing Center at Parrish Medical Center. This enables her to use her expertise in treating chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers and wounds caused by chronic circulatory problems.
Dr. Worsley is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Florida Academy of Family Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
